Cyclohexyl methacrylate, CHMA, is mainly used in coatings, plastics, textile, leather and paper industries as a monomer or comonomer for solution polymerization or suspension polymerization.
Production method of cyclohexyl methacrylate:
(1) The esterification method of methacrylic acid and cyclohexanol is prepared by the usual esterification method of methacrylic acid and cyclohexanol.
(2) Methyl methacrylate and cyclohexanol exchange method It is prepared by transesterification of methyl methacrylate and cyclohexanol.
