Uses of Butyl methacrylate:
Used as a polymer monomer, used in the production of modified plexiglass, transparent film, making paper, fabric, leather and other finishing agents and glazing agents, and used as a coating solvent. Used in the synthesis of plastics and organics.
Monomers for preparing polymers or copolymers. Used for the modification of plexiglass, and can be used as finishing agent, emulsifier, polish and deodorant for paper, leather and textiles. It can also be used as a solvent for paints and coatings, as a component of petroleum additives and binders.
Anti-hypertension; anti-angina pectoris.
Butyl methacrylate production method:
The esterification reaction of methacrylic acid and n-butanol is carried out under the catalysis of sulfuric acid, and then the finished product is obtained by salting out and rectification.
